| An error in range finding is analyzed and the corresponding compensationformula proposed when the ultrasonic wave is incident obliquely. A rectangular cross-section was measured as an illustration and the merit of the compensation formula tested.Method for measuring space of some other shapes is discussed. This paper has significancefor raising precision of measurement and choosing engineering measuring procedure. |
