| Acoustic communication through the water medium is greatly hadicapped by the noise produced by the moving vehicle and its machinery.This paper presents a first attempt to predict the levels of the noise reduction by a coating composed of low surface energy as a function of the frequency performed with a rotating cylinder and measurement in the test of water tunnel. Some coatings can reduce the noise in highfrequency(≥2 .5kHz). |
