Ultrasound of frequency 1 .8MHz and intensity 1-5 W/cm2 was used to induce sonochemical reaction in water. It was found that the concentration of HO2 free radical in cavitation water was 10-5M, the yield of HO2 free radical having a linear relation-ship with the sonification time and the sound intensity. |
