| Techniques using a computer to simulate the impulse response of an acous tical field in an enclosure are briefly mentioned. The principle and the algorithm of the conical beam tracing method(CBTM) which combines the image source method(ISM) and the ray tracing method(RTM) is presented. As an example, the impu1se response of a room model is calculated by using the CBTM and the ISM,and the results are compared. Some problems that should be paid attention to are discussed. |
