This paper proposes to use the Time-Frequency coding for underwater acoustic communication system in which there is serious multipath interference of transmitted signal. Using different frequency sequence over different time slot is well known as two-dimensional coding. The system based on this principle is found by us to have good performance against multipath interference and the data transmission rate can be increased to some extent. |
