A 32-element fiber optic hydrophone horizontal line array was designed and developed by the State Key Laboratory of Institute of Acoustics, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the National University of Defense Technology. In August 2002, it was successfully used in measuring the underwater signals in an experiment, which was conducted in the Bohai Sea. The horizontal correlations of acoustics were analyzed from the measured signals and were in good agreement with the theoretical results. |
