Application of pulse sound measurement technique to acoustic measurement of fiber-optic hydrophones in an echoic tank is presented. The basic principles are ex- plained in detail. A measurement system is built up, and the acoustic pressure sensitivity of a fiber-optic hydrophone is measured. The experimental result proves that the appli- cation of pulse sound measurement technique is feasible. |
