| An algorithm based on boundary element method is designed for calculating the near-field head-related transfer functions of a rigid simple sphere model of human head and validated by comparing the numerical results with the analytical solutions. Then an ellipsoid model is designed based on GB/T2428-1998 and its near-field HRTF in various spatial directions at mid-low frequency are calculated using the boundary element algorithm. According to the computation results, the characteristics for both models of the near-field HRTF as functions of directions and source distance are analyzed. |
