基于量子系统的物理概念在经典的声波体系中构造拓扑态是声学研究最前沿的方向之一。然而对于四极子拓扑绝缘体这一物理模型,已有的研究结果往往只关注能量局域在角上的角模式,而忽略了沿边界传输的边界态。本研究利用超材料单元在声波体系中实现了四极子拓扑绝缘体,通过分析构造的声人工周期单元的拓扑性质,沿特定的路径切割声学超材料晶体实现了反常手征边界态,并进一步构建了一系列支持边界态传输的声学器件。利用有限元仿真软件计算的结果表明该手征边界态在空间上有较好的局域性,对于尖锐的转角和几何缺陷亦具有免疫性。本研究提出的反常手征边界态及相关的输运器件有望应用于空间声场操纵,声学通信,减振降噪等领域。 |

Constructing topological states based on the physical concepts in quantum systems is one of the most frontier projects in acoustic researches. In this work, acoustic quadrupole topological insulators are realized by designing specific metamaterial unit-cells By analyzing the topological properties and choosing proper stripe geometry, anomalous chiral edge states are constructed in acoustic quadrupole topological insulators. Furthermore, acoustic topological devices supporting such chiral edge states are designed and the numerical calculated results reveal that the chiral edge states are well-localized and immune to the geometrical defects. The proposed topological devices possess promising applications on advanced wave manipulation, acoustic communication and noise and vibration control. |
