英文摘要:
      Efficiently and swiftly identifying environmental information and reaching the destination is particularly critical for passengers in transportation hubs like airports. However, due to attention competition, this process is easily influenced by the surrounding acoustic environment. This study aims to explore the impact of different types of sound sources and sound pressure levels on the task performance and subjective evaluations of visual search in check-in halls in airport terminals. The results revealed that participants’ visual search performance was significantly affected by sound pressure levels. As the sound pressure level increased, participants’ experiment duration increased, and accuracy decreased. As the sound pressure level increases to above 55dBA, there is a significant decrease in accuracy. Annoyance was significantly influenced by both sound pressure levels and types of sound sources, increasing with the rise in sound pressure levels. 65dBA was identified as the turning point for the evaluation of annoyance, with the highest annoyance evaluated under conversation noise. In this study, visual attention was not directly affected by sound pressure levels or types of sound sources. Additionally, gender differences had a significant impact on participants’ visual attention, task performance and subjective evaluations. This study helps to understand the range of acoustic environment in the check-in hall and provide passengers with a supportive acoustic environment.
