多极化MIMO信道特性与天线设计 ∗

摘要 多极化 MIMO 技术能够充分利用电磁场的矢量特性,在高频谱效率和紧凑型 MIMO 通信系统中具有
较大的应用潜力。其信道特性与天线辐射特性密切相关,并会受到环境散射状况的影响,虽然在多极化信道建
模理论和天线设计等方面已取得了一些重要的进展,然而在复杂环境中的信道建模和信道特性研究以及紧凑
型、低耦合多极化 MIMO 天线设计等方面仍存在很大挑战。该文简要介绍和总结了已有多极化 MIMO 信道建
模理论、多极化天线实现方式和信道特性测量实验等,并指出存在的一些问题和未来的研究方向。

A review of channel characteristic and antenna design of multipolarized
MIMO communication system

Abstract Multipolarized MIMO technology can make full use of the vector nature of electromagnetic field,
and has great potential in MIMO communication systems with high spectrum efficiency and compactness.
The behavior of a multipolarized MIMO channel depends strongly on the radiation property of the antenna,
the scattering characteristic of the propagation environment and the interactions between them. Although
important advances have been made on the theory of channel modeling and antenna design, there are still big
challengers in the channel modeling in complex environment and the realization of compact and low coupled
multipolarized MIMO antenna. In this paper, some theories related to the channel modeling of multipolarized
MIMO system, antenna realization, and some channel measurement experiments are briefly introduced and
summarized. Finally, some problems and research directions are pointed out.
